Willis Re, the reinsurance advisory and broking joint venture between Bain Capital (BCIS) and WTW, has announced the appointment of Olivia Dowden to its broking team.
Dowden brings more than eight years of experience across the London insurance and reinsurance market. She has expertise in client management, broking, and placement across a range of reinsurance structures and short-tail lines of business.
Her recent experience includes London catastrophe placements for direct and facultative portfolios, European retrocession programmes, and London market property quota share business.
She joins Willis Re from Price Forbes Re, where she was a Broker in the Property Treaty team.
Prior to that, she was an Account Manager on the Howden Markets team, delivering services for strategic insurer partners.
