American Modern Insurance Group, a specialty insurer and part of global reinsurer Munich Re, has appointed Angela Homm as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Kevin Morreale.
Homm takes up her new position on March 1st, 2027, and brings almost 20 years of industry experience to her new role. She has a decade of leadership experience at American Modern across internal audit, accounting, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management.
Since 2018, Homm has held a range of senior leadership positions across Munich Re’s global organisation. This includes Global Chief Financial Officer and North American Chief Operating Officer for Munich Re Digital Partners, Chief Risk Officer for U.S. Property & Casualty Operations, and currently, Head of Finance Transformation for Global Specialty Insurance.
Morreale will continue to serve as Interim President and CEO through February 2027 before returning to his role as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
